Played with actions & words

During your intermission
Our voices take centre stage
To announce their feelings
Without being heckled
By instrumentation
Intermission
It's where the real action takes place
The interface between hearts & minds
Intermission
Here the song of the soul is captured
As the tongue expresses the mind
Played on the instrument of the heart
In all its common clarity
Anything else is an illusion
